Overnight Youth (6 years plus) Trip at Meany Lodge- The Mountaineers

Wow! Another big event is being organized by Himalayan Youth Outdoors Project (6-18 years) at Meany Lodge- The Mountaineers in the month of January!

We are excited to announce to you that we have collaborated with The Mountaineers to organize an overnight stay at their historical Meany Lodge. Meany Lodge is The Mountaineers oldest winter sports resort, located approximately 60 miles east from Seattle off I-90 near Stampede Pass and surrounded by the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Meany Lodge provides a warm family environment for all - perfect for winter and summer adventures alike. Your children will enjoy a professional guided snowshoe experience during the day time and enjoy the warmth of the lodge at nighttime. We hope to provide an unique experience of community and love for the outdoors to our Nepalese youth through this event.

Nepal Seattle Hiking Community is committed to assist childrens and parents with their winter needs. Through our "Himalayan Youth Outdoors Program", we will provide transportation, lodging and food for free to participants and one parent. If another parent would like to join us, she/he can join us for a small fee. Snowshoes will be provided and we may also provide other winter gears upon request.

"This is an overnight trip for kids of age 6-18 years."

We will pick you up from Seattle (Pickup location yet to be determined) at 10 am on Jan 15th. We are reserving a bus to take us to the lodge, and drop you off on Jan 16th at noon. *More information will be disclosed as the dates are closer*
